What to Expect
Plan on 60 minutes for your first visit, which will include an interview, a physical examination, and treatment. The length of the exam depends on the complexity of your symptoms. Your treatment will begin immediately following the therapist’s assessment.
If you have not received paperwork in advance (via internet, mail, or e-mail), please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment so you have time to complete your paperwork before you see the physical therapist.
What to Wear
Wear comfortable, loose clothing (t-shirts, shorts, sweats) that are not restrictive to movement and closed toe shoes like sneakers. If you are being evaluated for orthotics, please bring a selection of shoes that you wear regularly, as well as shorts or pants that can be rolled above the knee. Shorts can be provided for you if you forget to bring them.
Please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne at your visit. Some individuals are highly sensitive, and can have an allergic reaction.
